This may be in the wrong location, but why can I not open some of the attachements? I click on the attached file and get the white screen with no document? What am I doing wrong?

Re: HelpThat happens to me as well. My computer has a "downloads" folder that it puts them all into. So then I have to open that up and click on the file I want to see. My computer is set up to automatically open PDF files, but word and excel files go to the downloads folder for some reason. It is an option I can adjust. Perhaps yours is doing a similar thing.

Re: HelpMine has done that quite a bit on the older files (2008 and earlier). I don't even have them in a download file. It's weird!

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if my Pampered Chef attachment won't fit my mixer?

If your attachment doesn't fit your mixer, first ensure that you are using the correct attachment for your specific mixer model. Check the compatibility information provided with the attachment. If it still doesn't fit, inspect the attachment and the mixer for any obstructions or damage that may be preventing a proper connection.

How can I fix a loose attachment that keeps falling off?

A loose attachment may indicate that it is not properly secured. Make sure to align the attachment with the locking mechanism and push it firmly until you hear a click. If the attachment continues to be loose, check for any wear or damage on the attachment or the mixer’s connection point that may require replacement.

What should I do if my attachment is stuck and won't come off?

If your attachment is stuck, try gently twisting it back and forth while pulling it away from the mixer. If it remains stuck, avoid using excessive force to prevent damage. Instead, you can apply a small amount of cooking oil around the joint to help loosen it. If it still doesn't budge, consult the user manual for specific instructions or contact customer support for assistance.

How do I clean my attachments to prevent issues?

To clean your attachments, disassemble them according to the manufacturer's instructions. Most attachments can be washed in warm, soapy water or placed in the dishwasher if they are dishwasher-safe. Ensure all parts are thoroughly dried before reassembling to prevent any moisture-related issues that could affect performance.

What should I do if my attachment is not working as expected?

If your attachment is not functioning properly, first check that it is securely attached to the mixer. Ensure that you are using it according to the instructions provided. If it still does not work, inspect the attachment for any visible damage or wear. If problems persist, consider reaching out to Pampered Chef customer service for troubleshooting assistance or to inquire about warranty options.
