I got a call from Jan Gilbert today asking me to be a workshop speaker on recruiting!!!! sooooo excited and honored! :)

So other than the fun of doing it, do you get a monetary compensation for missing out on taking trainings at conference?

Sheila- last year we got 100 PC $$ and a special line at registration.
 
My AD is speaking on Recruiting on Friday at noon - maybe you'll be together! :)

Yes, 100 PC $ for speaking..and Melissa... I think that might just be the one I am doing as well.. I have it written down and I know it is Friday.. how weird would that be???!!

Congratulations!!! I was also asked to teach the how to have a success PC business and work a full time job. I'm very excited too!

Yeah Congrats Beckie! I am actually interested in that class... I want to recruit more people who work full time and want to turn this business into replacement income. Would you share your notes after conference? I dont think I am going to be able to attend the class

Do you find out who you are speaking with? I'm going to tell her but in the mean time, she is Grace Bott. The two of you are recruiting goddesses so I'm sure you would be very compatible. :)

No Melissa I havent heard yet who I am paired with. we are supposed to get an email next week and have a conference call the week after Maui. Now that we have connected I am sure it will be her... just the way the universe works right!

Kudos to you too Beckie! I hate that there are SOOO many good topics this year and I can only attend two. It would make me so happy if they would release more recordings than just one of each afterwards. I love the insight from different peeps. I did get a lot of speakers notes last year so I hope to be that fortunate this year. (Hint to the ladies who are presenting...)

Anyone else presenting?

Melissa...I agree! But the great thing is that I would rather have more great options than not find enough topics to fill my schedule! And I am much more excited about conference knowing that Tammy Stanley and the Go for No team will be there again! I have found both speakers very inspirational to me in the past and looking forward to more from them.

Okay, having been in Japan my whole PC Career & never attending any of the events, I feel dumb. I don't know most of the names that you girls know. Who's Ellington Boyce?

you should be looking there all the time... those are the names of the people you want to seek out at conference and pick their brains.. if you are intereseted in making a lot of money by recruiting!
 
I can't complain with where my business has gone in the last 1.5 years with 4 promotions. This month I had a little over $1,000 in overrides, last month it was a little over $1,400. I don't have a single team member close. I'm figuring that I'm doing okay for not being in the same city, state or country as my team! But someday I plan to have that amount X10 each month. I'd be curious to see if those numbers are just quantity or if they are actually quality recruits. I wouldn't mind hearing what they do, but if they don't have the same retention rate (96.72% is my current stat), then I'm not interested in changing what I do. I'm not interested in dropping to the 1/3 coming, 1/3 staying & 1/3 going theory. ;)

$1000+ in overrides - I'm drooooooooling..... SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!! Whatever works for each individual CEO that keeps their business running well & profitable. Different strokes for different folks. :money:
 
I promise you girl, this is how you develop leaders on your team ... show them your paychecks! Jan was a super slow month team-wide, overrides were $800.37. Feb overrides = $1,473.01, Mar overrides = $1,400.74 and April overrides = $1,043.30. I'm loving the whole AD thing! ;)

I think I recall you talking about this... was it in this very thread? When did you start showing your check to your team? You are truly inspiring me with how you have built your team and I SO appreciate all your sharing.
