Sending newsletters through Pampered Chef's PWS (Personal Website System) is currently limited to pre-formatted email templates, with no option for customizable customer newsletters unless a team subscription is upgraded. Users are encouraged to contact tech support at [email protected] to express demand for this feature, as increased requests may prompt development. The effectiveness of emails sent via PWS is hindered by spam filters, particularly for .biz domains, resulting in low delivery rates. In contrast, services like Constant Contact and iContact achieve higher delivery rates due to established agreements with ISPs.
PREREQUISITESThis discussion is beneficial for marketers, team leaders using PWS, and anyone interested in optimizing email communication strategies for customer engagement.
raebates said:They said in the PWS workshop that it's just difficult since every individual provider has different settings. Add to that any customizing the recipient does, and you've got an unlimited number of obstacles to overcome.
Constant Contact and iContact have agreements with most ISPs (internet service providers) to allow their messages through. HO doesn't have the resources to undertake the huge task of establishing those agreements. It's not their primary business, so the return would be miniscule.jenniferm said:But why is it that constant contact and icontact seem to have a higher percentage rate of getting through to different email servers. Until I can see who is opening my emails I will never send out an email through PWS to my customers.
A PWS, or Personal Website, is a customizable online platform provided by Pampered Chef for consultants to promote their business. Sending newsletters through your PWS allows you to communicate directly with your customers, share updates, and promote products or events effectively.
To create a newsletter, log into your PWS and navigate to the marketing section. Here, you can find templates and tools to design your newsletter. Customize it with your branding, product highlights, and any upcoming events or promotions you want to share with your customers.
Yes, most PWS platforms allow you to schedule your newsletters. When you are in the newsletter creation section, look for an option to set a delivery date and time. This feature helps you plan your communications in advance and ensures your customers receive timely updates.
Include a mix of content in your newsletters, such as product spotlights, cooking tips, upcoming events, special promotions, and personal stories to connect with your audience. Engaging visuals and clear calls to action can also enhance the effectiveness of your newsletter.
You can track the success of your newsletters by monitoring metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and customer feedback. Many PWS platforms provide analytics tools that allow you to see how many recipients opened your newsletter and which links were clicked, helping you refine future communications.
