Ok...so Recruit #1 had November as her SS#1, she hasn't submitted anything yet! I keep in contact with her every day and e-mail but she won't respond. What should I do? She keeps telling me that she is going to place the order, and yet it's still not showing up online. Any suggestions as to how I can light a fire under her bottom?????

:(

This is a tough one. I think I could better advise if I had a little more info.

Has she done a show yet?
Has she ever hosted a show?

Anne~She hosted a show with me in October... that was when she decided to sign. She was supposed to close that show on October 13th, and never did. I decided to give her the few orders from her show to her as an incentive to sign and get the show closed. She still hasn't closed it. That's what I'm pushing her to do. I know one of the gals that has ordered from her and she's helping me try and push this girl. I'm just at a loss right now.

I'd tell her if the order does not show up by monday that you will have to take back the orders you gave her as those people are looking for their product.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if my recruit hasn't responded to my follow-up message?

If your recruit hasn't responded, consider sending a gentle reminder. Keep your message friendly and open-ended, expressing your willingness to answer any questions they might have. Sometimes people get busy, and a nudge can help them remember to reply.

How long should I wait before following up again?

A good rule of thumb is to wait about a week after your initial follow-up. This gives them enough time to respond while still keeping the conversation fresh in their mind. If you still don’t hear back, you can try reaching out again in another week or two.

What if I feel like I'm being too pushy by following up?

It's natural to worry about coming across as pushy, but following up is a standard part of the recruiting process. Just ensure your tone is friendly and supportive. You can frame your follow-up as a check-in rather than a push for a decision.

Should I change my approach if I still get no response?

If you continue to receive no response, it might be helpful to change your approach. Instead of a direct follow-up, you could share a success story or a testimonial from another consultant. This can reignite their interest and show them the potential benefits of joining.

How can I keep the conversation going if they eventually respond?

If they respond, be sure to engage them with open-ended questions about their interests and concerns regarding joining Pampered Chef. Listen actively and provide information that aligns with their goals. Building a rapport will help keep the conversation flowing and encourage them to consider joining your team.
