Were any of you surprised like me that the grill press and grill pan were not included in any of the sell-a-thon boxes? There is rumor that this will be a fall incentive for us to earn. We do need it if they expect us to sell it! I have the Professional Grill Pan right now and I really really want that press! I was so excited about that!

I REALLY want those too! I also noticed the new colored items aren't included in the sell-a-thon:(

How much is the press and is it electric?

I'm thinking that the grill pan and press is going to be on supply or on the sample packages. I mean, how are we going to do the new theme shows without the grill press?? I will be shocked if its not!:p

It is $29....not electric. Have you seen Rachael Ray make paninis by just putting another skillet over her sandwich? It's kinda that concept...just a flat press that you put on top of your sandwich, burgers, or veggies to get great grill marks. It's going to be really great I think!

thanks Lacy. I have been wanting one of those paninni makers. I guess you will need the exec grill pan as well.

My hubby can't wait to get those 2 items! Of course he could care less about any of the products that I earned in Level 3. Go figure that he wants something that I have to purchase!:p

Interesting about the new cover of catalogues in November. I was surprised my some of the products being retired. Also does anyone know what the packages of the new products will be that we can purchase for 50% off?

Really

New Round Up Campaign: These will be another collectible item --
trivets. Very nice. They are metal with a brushed copper finish.
$12.00 each and the donation to RUFTH has been doubled to $2 per trivet
sold.

You can get one free by writing it in on your paperwork supply order
starting August 15 (#ES48)

We can get one free??? That is awesome!

Yep. I believe they let us get one free everytime a new one comes out. I got one of the heart molds free too.

I saw her make the one time by just wrapping a brick in aluminum foil and then sitting it on top of her bread while it was on the grill.

Our cluster did make the challenge, I do know a lot did not, it was hard and I hope they don't have that again. I am looking forward to my next cluster meeting in Aug. so we can see all the new stuff. I did earn level 1 can't wait for UPS at the end of the month.

We earned it too...Our cluster earned the Free knife/June Challenge too. We only had to submit 12 (small group with lots of inactives) and I did 4 myself! We actually had 3 to spare. I just had a large cluster meeting with my Hospitality group and 3 groups there didn't make it - and they are active groups. All the Directors were bummed, but they said it sounds like PC is going to do MORE group challenges! They were complaining about that fact... I'm bummed I missed Level 2 personally but I earned Level 1 - yeah. This is only my second time around at new products/challenges but I thought this one was a lot harder than last time! Thanks for the info on Conference!

I think it's a great idea about the change in covers for November! It will mix it up a bit instead of having 1 cover for 6 months strait! They should do it for the Spring/ Summer catty too! It may peak interest for some people to see a new and different cover for a sellng season!:)

With the change over of the covers on the catalogs and the mini-catalogs - it is not quite clear to me. Will they automatically send us 25 new catalogs? Or do you think we have to order them?

our cluster done 13 of 26 shows. i submitted 6 of them. i hate we are not getting the product too. i think HO should take that in account for those that submitted shows for it. keeping my fingers crossed!!!

i want the grill press too! i will be so glad to reviece the paperwork/emails and all so we KNOW everything for SURE!!

Our cluster missed the challenge by 2 shows :(

I think changing the cover in Nov. is a great idea.

They said at conference to only order what you will use until they do the different cover, then order more of the new cover for the next half of the season.

I read that after November whenever we order catalogues we'll automatically get the new cover ones.

What do you mean the new colored items aren't in the Sell a Thon? Haven't you seen the list? They certainly are! I'm getting tiles SA, tiles linens, the cranberry medium squares, the colored small bowls are on there somewhere.....

I was talking about the colored knives, towels, twixits, etc...the little things!

June Cluster Challenge: BTW, this was NOT mentioned at all during
conference. Not one mention of it was made in any general session.

Forged Cutlery: 7" Santoku knife

Did ANYONE earn this? My director was told that no one in our exec's downline earned it! I was just hoping they'd announce that they'd just give it to us all that did do the 2 shows-for free! Wishful thinking I guess;)[/QUOTE]

Our cluster earned it, but it was told at the upper level directors banquet that very few clusters earned it. I know that my cluster and one more were the only one's in Becky Ishee's downline to earn it. They said that they were reviewing this kind of challenge and that it would probably not be repeated.

I am thinking that 3 or 4 clusters on this site did earn it but I'm not sure if they're in the same cluster or not.

Our cluster earned it, only one in Barbara Duke's direct downline. It was hard, that is the hardest I have worked, if only I could work that hard every month!

In regards to the June Cluster challenge: Honestly, my exec does not think anyone earned it. It was one of the most difficult challenges I have seen in 8 years. The lack of succes is probably the reason it was not mentioned.

Oops! Sorry Amanda. I just noticed your cluster earned it. congratulations!!

Don't worry, I understand I received several dirty looks at conference when I mentioned we earned it. I understand, I worked my tail off, and if we wouldn't have made it I probably would still be po'd about it.

It was mentioned at the upper level director's lunch (Wave 2). Seems that they have been doing this type of challenge in UK and Cananda with great success. Not so in the US! Mainly the clusters that earned it were the smaller ones where the director and one or two of her top sellers could do 6-8 shows and meet the cluster numbers needed.

Overall company sales were up 12% for the month of June so it did accomplish one thing....people were selling.

As with any new challenge/incentive, it can be a hit or miss....this was a big miss and I'm sure the home office will take that into consideration in the future.

It stinks to work hard and not receive the incentive but try to focus on the positive....a bigger paycheck in July for your hard work in June. :)

Our cluster made it - though apparently only 2 clusters in our Executive's downline got it! I can't wait to get my knife!! :)

My director said the same thing about it being successful in Canada and the UK. She also said they didn't mention the HWC total either like they normally do. I guess they ended up donating extra to the ACS and donating retired products to them as well. She said they are seriously rethinking how to do HWC next year.

Our cluster made it, but I have not heard of many others who did.
