To make Crescents and Apples, you will need crescent roll dough, apples (preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), sugar, cinnamon, and butter. Optional ingredients include caramel sauce and chopped nuts for added flavor and texture.
Start by peeling, coring, and slicing the apples into thin wedges. Toss the apple slices with sugar and cinnamon to coat them evenly before wrapping them in the crescent roll dough.
Bake the Crescents and Apples at 350°F (175°C) for about 15-20 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the apples are tender. Keep an eye on them to prevent over-browning.
Yes, you can substitute apples with other fruits such as peaches, pears, or berries. Just make sure to adjust the sugar and cinnamon according to the sweetness and flavor of the fruit you choose.
Crescents and Apples can be served warm, drizzled with caramel sauce or a dusting of powdered sugar. They make a great dessert or a sweet breakfast treat. Pair them with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra indulgence!
