  • Anecdotal
  • Opinion-based
  • Technical explanation

Main Points Raised

  • One participant mentions that the recruit needs to have the kit credit entered in her show and will require her PHD number to claim it.
  • Another participant suggests that the recruit could buy the kit outright and use the current show as her first one, which could help her towards her qualifying amount.
  • One participant expresses frustration about being told by their recruiter that they could not buy the kit and have the order placed under them, feeling it was selfish behavior.
  • Another participant clarifies that if the show was submitted under a different consultant's name, it would be against policy, and shares their approach to training new consultants before their first show.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

Views differ on the appropriateness of buying the kit outright and the implications of show submissions under different consultants. No clear consensus emerges regarding the best approach to take.

She is using the $40 kit credit. What do I need to do after I submit her show? How soon can she order her kit? Can she still do it online? I didn't use credit for mine so I don't know and don't have time to look it up. Thanks

First you have to make sure you've entered the kit credit in her show. Once the show is processed, I believe she needs her PHD number to claim the kit credit. You can check it online, or call HO to get it (though at this point you'd have to wait until Monday to talk to anyone). She should still be able to do it online.

Or you could have her buy the kit outright & use THIS show as her first one! Helping her towards her qualifying amount. ;)

This kinda bugs me. I specifically asked my recruiter this EXACT question if I could do that, buy my kit & then have her place the order under me & she said no. That really is aggravating & seems kind of selfish on her part.

IF she was the one who did the show - then it had to be submitted under her name. Policy is that a consultant cannot do a show and submit it under a different consultant's name. So if that was the situation, she wasn't being selfish, she was just following policy. When I have someone who wants to sign outright and submit that first show, I do some training with them before hand, and then they do their own show as their first show, and I just come to help support and coach at the show...BUT the new consultant/host is actually doing the demo, etc...

What should I do first when my recruit is ready to order her kit?

First, ensure that your recruit has completed all necessary training and understands the benefits of the Pampered Chef kit. Then, guide her to the Pampered Chef website where she can place her order. Make sure she has her consultant ID and any promotional codes if applicable.

How can I help my recruit choose the right kit for her?

Discuss the different kit options available and their contents. Encourage her to consider her personal goals, the types of products she is excited about, and her budget. You can also share your own experiences with the kits to help her make an informed decision.

What payment options are available for ordering the kit?

Your recruit can typically pay for her kit using a credit or debit card. Some may also have the option to use PayPal or other payment methods depending on the company's policies. Make sure she checks the available options during the checkout process.

How long does it take for the kit to arrive after ordering?

The shipping time can vary based on location and current demand, but generally, recruits can expect their kit to arrive within 5 to 10 business days after placing the order. Encourage her to keep an eye on her email for tracking information once the order is processed.

What should my recruit do once she receives her kit?

Once she receives her kit, she should unpack it and familiarize herself with the products. Encourage her to practice using the tools and recipes included in the kit. Additionally, she should start planning her launch party to showcase her new products and begin building her customer base.
