Hi all,
I am sick as a dog & I need a show covered this Friday! 7:00 in Carmel, NY.
I hate to give it up, but I don't think it's fair to the host that I am squeeking, oozing & coughing all over the food.

I am planning a pecan lattice tart & there will be approx. 10 guests w/ some added "bring a friend" add on's. I've promised a gift for a bring a friend...

Please let me know asap! She wants to keep the date... :( Thanks! if you can help!!!

I can't help you out, but I hope you get to feeling better really quickly.

I didn't know people get sick when the weather is so nice?!?!

It is JUST a little to far for me to travel from Long Island! LOL

Keri ~

I ws in your position before...I told the host I was sick...she asked me if it was okay if I came...THEY did the demo under my instruction. I wore a mask ~ it worked out great (though I felt like sh..!) ~ the the guests were fine with it too...of course, unless they talked after I left! LOL

I didn't touch the food, the tools, I even had the host tear the receipts off for the guests.

They were grateful I came and didn't cough all over their food. I had a $800 party, 4 bookings...I would say it was GREAT!

Good luck, I hope you feel better soon!

Ginny

Now that's something I haven't heard before! What a way for your show to turn out! If I can't find a consultant, I just may be in your shoes after all. Thanks for the tips! I don't know what my host would think of this. :)
PS ~ of all the weeks... everyone is in the Bahama's (expect me...):p
