Great boost for this week! Thanks!

great inspiration to get going this week. I think I will call this afternoon!!!

JUST WHAT I NEEDED. I knew I had to get on the phone. Now I'm ready to go.

Thanks

Did anybody listen to her conference call today (12:00 noon Eastern time)? The call was full when I called at 11:57, so I was not able to. I would love to see some notes!

WOW! Thanks! I passed it on to my team and director! You rock, Debbie!

I would like to know how the call went. I dialed in too late and it was full. Please share with us if anyone was on the call.

????? ???? Did I miss something..AGAIN?!?!?!

If you subscribe to Lynn Conway's newsletter she emailed about a phone call she was doing today about word choices for this week.

I could kick myself that I didn't call in 5-10 minutes early to get on the call.

So does anyone have any great words to say they want to share to get our customers excited?

Ann R.

The call was VERY MOTIVATING!!!!! Lyn pointed out that if we are at home today, chances are so is everyone else, so this week is the BEST time to call for CCC. Some other key points were:

1. When you call, FAYC (Forget About Yourself Completely)
2. Ask them how were your holidays?
3. If they purchased gifts from you, ask if they were happy with the gifts.
4. Tell them you were thinking about them.
5. Just wanted to check and see if I can be of service to you.

If you have a goal, tell them:

1. You have a BHAG (Big Hairy Adascious Goal) and you wanted to share it with them.
2. Ask them if they made any plans for the week or if they have any New Year's Resolutions. (This can lead into recruting)
3. Ask them if they are an impromptu person, if so invite them to get some friends together for some post x-mas fun with a few friends in the next few days. (This is a great idea for those people who are feeling down that the holidays are over)

Some other things I took from the call:

1. JUST DO IT......Get on the phone, no one will be offended if you call to offer customer service.
2. Try this idea for the goal you tell people: I am booking 26 parties on the 26th and thought of you. You can do this any day of the week 27, 28...ect.
3. If you are having trouble getting on the phone try this mind set. I am going to spend 26 minutes on the phone on the 26th, then do this every day this week and if you do then it will be less than 2 hours all week. Not bad huh?
3. Always ask them if they have a quick minute or ask if they are interruptable.
4. Follow up every call with a thank you e-mail.
5. For an answering machine say something like this: Hi susie, this is______ with Pampered Chef, I was thinking about you and just wanted to call and wish you happy holidays. If you want to call me back you can at __________otherwise I will try you again soon.
6. Idea for a party....Santa Do Over Party
7. For people on the fence for recruiting she said to say something along the lines of: What do you want to be different in 2008? New Year's Resolution? If you start your business you will get lots of products, make money and see if it's for you.
8. Have one of your PC buddies do the calls also so you can hold each other accountable.
9. Try the 100 NO's Challenge to help get past the fear of phone calling.

I know she made some other key points I probably missed, so I would love to hear what the rest of you took from the call. She was very dynamic and I will definitely be on the phone today. :D

THANK YOU JODI!!!! Thanks so much for taking the time to post your notes. I was looking forward to the call. Now I am ready to arm myself with that phone, and attack that call list!

No Problem! She just forwarded the call. I will try to send the link to you.

I am so glad she recorded the call. I made some calls right now at 4:45 till about 5 ish. Probably not a good time. Got a hold of a few people.
