I have a host that would like a fish recipe for her show.

Here's the thing I don't eat anything from the water (yes even tuna) I wouldn't even know where to start to look or even what would taste good.

She mentioned something poached.

She is a great customer has spent over $100 at every show she is at and this will be her second show since I started in May. She likes how easy a work get together is. I want to make her happy!

Help!

What about poached salmon in a piece of cookware. OR baked tilapia/salmon on the bar pan? If you did the poached salmon, you could always do a salad. That way you wouldn't have to cook a ton of fish.
Just a thought.

Do you have the fish recipe card collection from PC?

A simple poached fish recipe involves using a white fish like tilapia or cod. Start by bringing a mixture of water, white wine, lemon juice, and herbs (like dill or parsley) to a simmer in a large skillet. Add the fish fillets and poach for about 10 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Serve with a light sauce or garnish for added flavor.

How can I make my poached fish dish visually appealing for the show?

To make your poached fish dish visually appealing, consider garnishing with fresh herbs, lemon wedges, or edible flowers. Using colorful vegetables as a side dish can also enhance the overall presentation. Plating the dish on a nice serving platter can elevate the look as well.

Can I prepare the poached fish in advance for my show?

Yes, you can prepare poached fish in advance. Poach the fish, let it cool, and store it in the refrigerator. Just before serving, you can gently reheat it in a warm sauce or in the microwave to ensure it stays moist and flavorful.
