I need your help.

I'm a little confused with how to lay the crescent rolls to form the wreath. I am reading the Glazed Apple Wreath recipe on page 30 of SB. Arranging the crescent rolls sound really confusing to me - "arrange 8 triangles in a circle on stone. Arrange remaining triangles in centre, matching wide ends of triangles." The second part is the part that totally confuses me. I'm not sure what they mean by matching wide ends... Where do you put the filling? I'm so confused.....

Making the WreathI've placed directions beside the picture and it makes a little more sense. You can open using any drawing program.
Hope this helps.

Frequently Asked Questions

What ingredients do I need to make a Glazed Apple Wreath?

To make a Glazed Apple Wreath, you will need the following ingredients: refrigerated crescent roll dough, apples (preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), brown sugar, cinnamon, and a glaze made from powdered sugar and milk. You may also want to add chopped nuts or raisins for extra flavor.

How do I prepare the apples for the Glazed Apple Wreath?

Start by washing and peeling the apples. Then, core and slice them into thin wedges. Toss the apple slices with brown sugar and cinnamon to coat them evenly before arranging them on the dough.

What is the best way to shape the wreath?

To shape the wreath, roll out the crescent roll dough and cut it into triangles. Arrange the apple slices in a circular pattern on the dough, overlapping them slightly. Then, fold the points of the triangles over the apples and pinch them to seal, creating a wreath shape.

How long should I bake the Glazed Apple Wreath?

Bake the Glazed Apple Wreath in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 25-30 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the apples are tender. Keep an eye on it to prevent over-browning.

How do I make the glaze for the Glazed Apple Wreath?

To make the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl until smooth. You can adjust the consistency by adding more milk for a thinner glaze or more powdered sugar for a thicker glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the warm wreath before serving.
