someone sent me this link:

http://www.maida.net/pamperedchef/pcindex.htm

That's odd. And a violation of our contract, right?

If HO finds out about this they will be contacting her to tell her that she is in violation of our web-site policies......

You bet that is a total violation of the policies. Some of her links don't work too. I would report it to Home Office.

That is so not cool!!!! I would report it to Home Office as well....

And most of the page is actually just pulling in information from the PC site - it's not even original content.

What a cheater!

The appropriate address at HO for reporting this is [email protected]

This is the note I just sent them:
Good afternoon.

I was directed today to the following site: http://www.maida.net/pamperedchef/pcindex.htm. This site is clearly in violation of the consultant web policy, as well as including content direct from the Home Office servers.

It disturbs and saddens me when I discover consultants acting against the policies set forth by the home office. They not only gain an unfair advantage on the internet, but frequently portray a less than professional image.

I encourage you to take the appropriate action against the consultant in question.

Sincerely,
Ann Szwarc
Consultant #261424

I wonder if this is someone who is still even active? Her host rewards page has the old points system on it and PC did away with that several years ago.

I found and reported this one about a month ago and nothing happened. Although I reported it to solution center rather than career solutions. I just re-reported it to career solutions. What I have found is that things need to be reported a few times before anyone at HO takes notice. So, I do recommend when you find something out there on the web that is shady, let a few other consultants know about it - post it on one of these message boards...so that HO gets several reports abotu it and they'll take action more quickly.

That's a good point. (No pun intended. :) ) And the list she has of "Products under $10" includes the F/W 2004 SBRC. So chances are that she's not an active consultant, but it's still disheartening.

She must be still active because she has all of the new products listed. I wonder if it is from another country...is the "host point system" used in other countries? Just a thought

The new products are listed because most of the content of the pages is pulling directly from the Pampered Chef public site. If you hold your mouse over a link and look in the lower left status bar of your browser, you'll see the address of the page it will go to. They're from the PC site.

I'm confused as to what specifically is wrong with the website. Is it because its not set up like a normal one is? I just got my website a couple of weeks ago and am technilogically challenged so pardon my asking. I just want to be familiar with knowing what is wrong with the website.

janel- the problem with the mentioned website it is it's not a .biz website. When it pulls up it's actually hosted through another company:maida. That is not allowed according to the handbook~tiffanyp

I just sent it to Jan Capinegro - so something will be done. She does not have the right to use our website information.

AHHH, I see. Why wouldn't she just get a website through PC?

This is the response I got from HO:

Hi Ann,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The Consultant responsible for this has been inactive for well over a year and is no longer under contract with us as a Consultant.

She of course should not be using information from our corporate Web site www.pamperedchef.com <http://www.pamperedchef.com/> as part of her personal Web design site www.maida.net <http://www.maida.net/> . We will certainly contact her as soon as possible and ask her to remove this material from her site.

Thanks.

Not that this has anything to do with PC but Tiffany...I lived in Oki for 7.5 years! We moved back to the states last summer and I miss it SO much! I could kill for Yoshi's! Thank goodness the Sushi folks at our commissary make a mean Rainbow roll or I would be miserable!
