wadesgirl said:Just cut back on the lime. I had the opposite problem. When I made it I didn't have lime and it needs it for sure! And next time I'll add a little cilantro.

chef.dione said:I have had it 4 times now, all by different makers. One had too much onion, one to much jalepeno pepper, one bits of the mini spatula in it, the blades on the MFP are that sharp, and the last one was too dry. So I havent liked it yet. I dont care for mango, but to use the mango slicer I have no choice.
Chef Kearns said:I have made the Fresh Pineapple Salsa from the S/S '10 SB. I made it last night for my huband's birthday and it was outstanding!! I had never made it before. I don't like salsa if any of the pieces are too large. The MFP makes the perfect size pieces for salsa! I would definitely do this recipe for a show. I didn't make the Lime Chips. I bought the Tostitos Lime Flavored kind.
I even used the Veggie Wedger for the cucumbers, jalapenos, onions, and tomatoes. I LOVE that thing!!

No, you are not the only one. Taste preferences are subjective and everyone has different tastes. It is completely normal to not like a certain type of salsa.
That's okay, not everyone enjoys the same type of salsa. There are many other options available, so you can find one that you do enjoy.
Jicama can be harder to find in some areas, but there are usually specialty stores or markets that carry it. You can also substitute another type of crunchy vegetable in place of jicama, such as cucumber or radish.
Mangos can be tricky to pick and they do have a short window of ripeness. Make sure to select mangos that are slightly soft to the touch and have a sweet smell. If your mangos are always too ripe or rotten, try buying them from a different store or asking for assistance in choosing ripe ones.
Sure, I'd be happy to give you some feedback. What specifically do you not like about the salsa? Is it too spicy, too sweet, or are there certain ingredients that you don't enjoy? Knowing this information can help in making adjustments to the recipe or finding a different type of salsa that may better suit your taste preferences.
That sounds like a delicious alternative! It's always great to experiment with different types of salsa and find the one that you enjoy the most. Let us know how the Apple Berry Salsa turns out!
