When someone asks you, "what does Lifetime guarantee" really mean..regarding the cookware??

Suggestions...

I am not sure the exact meaning, but in regards to the cookware, if used per conditions of the use and care instructions the cookware should remain funcional and not fall apart. If one puts the Executive Cookware in the dishwasher, the warranty is void. If you broil it that would also void the warranty. If you use it properly and it warps or breaks or it starts to chip then it can be replaced.

For the first few years of my biz, I really didn't understand the cookware warranty. Now that I understand the key things which would void the warranty I say "our cookware has a limited lifetime warranty"....this allows me to state the lifetime warranty but I'm offering a word choice that indicates there are some limitations! My cookware sales are actually better now and I feel I am being more realistic in what I'm telling customers.

That's great! Thanks. I wish PC would add the word limited to their statements too. People understand that but when it says lifetime they think they can just trade it in 10 years later for new. (...well some do)

Yes, and then there are those people who think that everything from PC has a lifetime warranty. I spend a lot of time addressing that issue. As for the lifetime warranty, I tell people, "If you treat it with care and use it properly, PC will replace it if there is a problem. If you abuse it, it's your own darn fault.:)"
