A customer called and asked if I had a recipe. Apparently a friend of hers went to a PC party a long time ago and this recipe was prepared. All she could tell me about it is that some of the ingredients were Tollhouse crackers, mini m&m's, pretzels and chocolate. I know this is a stretch but if anyone has any idea what she is talking about, I would appreciate the recipe. I have been searching and can't come up with anything!

Thanks,

Von

I don't know if this is what you were looking for but I made these last year for my daugthers school fundraiser: And it sounds like all of the same ingredients except this one has nuts.

Confetti Crisps
(Delightful Desserts...pg 124)

40 square (about 2 inches) saltine crackers
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup butter (do not use margarine)
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 cup mini-twist pretzels, broken into small pieces
1/3 cup chopped peanuts
1/3 cup candy-coated chocolate miniature baking bits
1/3 cup raisins (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 350F. Arrange crackers side by side in single layer in Stoneware Bar Pan.

2. Combine brown sugar, butter and vanilla in Small (2 qt) Saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally with Nylon Spiral Whisk, until mixture comes to a full boil across the surface. Boil, stirring constantly, 4 minutes.

3. Immediately pour sugar mixture over crackers and spread evenly with Large Spreader. Bake 10-12 minutes or until bubbly and lightly browned. Remove pan form oven to Nonstick Cooling Rack.

4. Immediately sprinkle baked crackers with chocolate morsels. Let stand 3 minutes, allowing morsels to soften, then spread evenly over surface. Sprinkle with pretzels, peanuts, baking bits and raisins, if desired. Lightly press toppings into melted chocolate using back of Large Serving Spatula. Let stand at room temperature to cool completely. Refrigerate 20 minutes to firm chocolate. Cut into squares.

Makes 40 squares.
