I've heard on CD's to prepare a recipe at shows that uses a lot of high dollar tools. Any one have suggestions?
My Director suggested the jerk chicken salad.
Any other suggestions?

Take a look at the new consultant recipes - those are pretty good and use tons o'products.

Well, it doesn't use the MOST, but the Parmesan Garlic Bites use $146 worth of products - all in the kit (so not just good for straight sales, but recruiting on the "ultimate bargain" angle). Saute pan $38
Utility Knife $38
Cutting board $16.50
Garlic press $15.50
Microplane $26.50
Small Mix 'n Scrape $11.50
Total for garlic bites = 146!

Also, look for substitutions: I made the Quick Chicken Risotto from the fall SBCB, and it calls for using the crinkle cutter for the zucchini - I used the crinkle blade on the UM. BIG $$ difference. Same for making apple berry salsa - it calls for cutting the strawberries with egg slicer, I used V-blade on UM. I get to talk about the UM, show how it can cut something as delicate as a strawberry or peeled kiwi ("so you know it can do the tomatoes!"), and then mention you could use an egg slicer for this recipe but that the UM is more versatile.

Believe it or not, the Moroccan chicken pita Wedges in the new SBRC use a lot of high priced tools.
If you start by grilling the chicken in the Grill Pan ($120) and using the Chef's Tongs ($20) you can really rack up the dollar amount. The Large Sheet Pan ($16) for baking the pitas, but you can use the Large Round Stone with Handles or the Large Bar Pan (both $29.50). I cut the pitas with the pizza cutter ($9.75) on the Lg Gr. Cutting Brd ($29.50), but you could use the Forged Cutlery Bread Knife ($65). Dice the chicken with the Chef's Knife ($75), place in a Stainless Bowl ($39) instead of the Classic Batter Bowl. Mix with the Master Scraper ($14.50). Moraccan Rub is $4. Ultimate Mandolin for cucumbers ($59.50). Utility Knife ($32) to quarter the cukes. Julinne Peeler ($9.50), Citrus Press ($16.50) instead of the Juicer ($12.50), juice the lemon into a Prep Bowl ($25) or Easy Reads ($22), measure the juice with the Easy Adj Measuring Spoon ($12), snip cilantro with Kitchen Shears ($15.50) use the Herb Keeper ($12). Mix it with the Small Mix N Scraper ($11.50). Use Small Scoop ($10.50). Then serve them on a platter like the Oval Platter w/ Cranberry Accent ($52)
This could potentially show over $760 worth of product. I think I may be making this a lot this spring.

I have started wanting recipes that show a minimum amount of products, so, I have less to carry with me! HAHA!:D

I have decided to always be able to use the UM b/c I have sold several of those since I have been using it at shows more. When they see how many things it will do, they will come off the money more for it. So, I try to use it for more than one thing.

It doesn't really depend on the recipe but what you use to make it. If a recipe calls for the batter bowl that doesn't need to go in the microwave, use the SS bowls. If it calls for one of the green knives, use a forged knife. If it calls for a cutting board, use the one with cups. I also use several different mixers and scrapers through out the show instead of one the entire recipe.
