I am never able to open all of everyone's great fliers and brochures. My computer seems to download it and when I go to open it it says "File not found"
Is it my computer (which is old, Windows 98) or is there something I need to do so I can make use of all of these great fliers?

Thanks
Kris

hey kris,
Where exactly do you save the file too? make sure you have where you want it saved to before saving it. It might also be wise if you are having problems to open the document before saving it and then save it. See if that works if it doesn't email me and I can ask my father he works on computers for a living.

Okay, thanks Kathi.
I'll give that a try in a bit.

Hey Kris,
Just wondering if things worked out okay on getting things to download?

Nope Kathi,
I emailed you actually. Did you get it?

HOwever, there is a thread in the increasing sales forum that the lady put her prize drawing slip that she uses on there. Then Nikki? said she was going to convert it to word, and she did, and i clicked on it and it opened right up. So it has something to do with that.

Felt good to get one of the attachments for once. LOL

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if I receive a "File Not Found" error when downloading a file?

If you encounter a "File Not Found" error, first check the URL of the file to ensure it is correct. If the link was provided in an email or on a website, try copying and pasting it directly into your browser. Additionally, verify that the file is still available on the server or website you are trying to download from.

How can I check if the file I am trying to download still exists?

You can check if the file exists by trying to access the URL directly in your web browser. If you receive a 404 error or a similar message, the file may have been moved or deleted. If possible, contact the source of the file for confirmation.

What browser settings might affect my ability to download files?

Your browser settings, such as pop-up blockers or download restrictions, may prevent files from downloading. Check your browser's settings to ensure that downloads are allowed and that any security features are not blocking the download process.

Could my antivirus software be interfering with file downloads?

Yes, antivirus software can sometimes block downloads if it perceives them as a threat. Temporarily disabling your antivirus program may help you download the file. However, ensure you re-enable it afterward and only download files from trusted sources.

What steps can I take if the download keeps failing?

If your download keeps failing, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, as this can resolve issues related to corrupted data. Additionally, consider using a different browser or device to see if the problem persists. If the issue continues, check your internet connection for stability.
