Just worked my second North Carolina Mountain State Fair...I'm still working off leads from last year's fair, so it has been very profitable for me. Here's my question for you:

I have a bunch of folks who provided me with address and/or e-mail address but no phone number but then checked off that they were interested in the business or hosting. Does anyone have a great letter that they send to follow up with these leads? I'd hate to let these fall through the cracks just 'cause I can't call them.

Thanks!

First, try people.yahoo.com to see if you can find a home phone number.

that's what i wud do as well

or try whitepages.com

on the same note about a booth lead...
when someone circles 3 on an interest level out of 10...any advice on how to approach that call? That's a pretty low number.

Unless someone circles a 1 or a 10, I pretty much treat them all the same - as a maybe. So I just ask them a question, like "Would you like to know what's involved in hosting?" or "When would be a good time for me to call you about having your own show?"

That having been said, I need to get off my butt and call all the leads that I have from my last 2 booths!!!:o

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I follow up with fair leads if I don't have their phone numbers?

You can follow up with fair leads through email or social media platforms. If you collected their email addresses during the fair, send a personalized message thanking them for visiting your booth and offering additional information about your products. If you connected with them on social media, consider sending a direct message to continue the conversation.

What should I include in my follow-up message?

Your follow-up message should include a thank you for their interest, a brief reminder of your products or services, and an invitation to ask any questions they may have. You can also include a special offer or promotion to encourage them to make a purchase.

How soon should I follow up with fair leads?

It's best to follow up within 24 to 48 hours after the fair. This keeps your interaction fresh in their minds and shows that you value their interest. Timely follow-ups can significantly increase the chances of converting leads into customers.

What if I don't have any contact information for the leads?

If you don't have contact information, consider reaching out through any social media platforms where you may have interacted with them. You can also encourage leads to connect with you on social media during the fair, making it easier to follow up later.

How can I make my follow-up more engaging?

To make your follow-up more engaging, personalize your messages by mentioning specific products they showed interest in during the fair. Use a friendly tone and include visuals, such as product images or links to your website. You can also ask questions to encourage a response and create a dialogue.
