There were a lot of reality checks about what is really needed to be a director and what is really expected as far as time, committment, sales and recruiting requirements. I don't want to go into more detail on that because people are sensitive about their own business and may or may not want to take the "hard look" at the reality of what they are or are not doing. They had us analyze our numbers from last year just based on the numbers, not what we think or wish. Just are you growing, maintaining or shrinking. I am a numbers person so this was not a shocked to me, but I can tell you there were several at my table who had an eye opener about themselves and their business.

Did a lot about time management. Your personal biz vs spending time on the team. Talked about mentoring other directors, working with HO and the expectations of what they "should do".

Well worth the time. Can't wait to get on the phone this morning!

Thanks Jenni,

I am planning on going to one now that I promoted. I will be in PA in August and I know they are planning one in Philadelphia. I am crossing my fingers it will be at about the same time I am there.

Ann, Great! Where are you in PA? I grew up in Easton about 1 hour north of Philly.

Ann lives in upstate NY. I'm one hour north of Easton - very familiar with the Easton area. :)

Well of course she does, it says it in her profile ! I don't always read.

LOL! Just catching up on the posts! I live 100 miles north of Syracuse, NY on the St. Lawrence River which borders Canada.
