Discover Pampered Pfaltzgraff: New Products and Deals Under $60!

Does anyone get the Pfaltzgraff catalog? I just got the new one in the mail yesterday. They have come out with their own Santoku knives [Called Pro Froged Santoku knives"] and they are charging $10 for them. They have also come out with : Batter bowls, prep bowls, a new roasting pan that holds a 25lb turkey ($59), a new series of silicone bakeware and a series of kitchen tools including a lemon zester scorer etc.

I know that the Pampered Chef isn't the only company on top of the hot trends but I was shocked to see SO much stuff that we have and for cheaper. I am SURE it can't be as good a quality!

They have a lot of the same stuff at Target, too. They even have a Santoku for (if I remember correctly) around $5 (I wouldn't be caught dead with it, but they have one...cheap looking and feeling IMHO). I'd bet there's no LIFETIME guarantee on it, either.

Basically it comes down to what I've always believed. When it comes to kitchen tools you get what you pay for! I love to cook and love trying out new tools so it's easy for me to comprehend that value isn't always about the price but someone who doesn't spend much time in the kitchen or isn't familiar with what a kitchen product SHOULD be might have a harder time understand. That's where we come in, to explain that to them.
