Hello, my name is Haley. I have been "lurking" for about a year now on this site, soaking up all of the expertise, ideas, advice from everyone and never posted until recently. I joined PC last August and love it. I live in a very rural area near Cape Charles on the Eastern Shore of VA. I teach Spec. Ed as my "real" job and do this as a "fun" job and is something that I enjoy being challenged at. My summer has been slow. I didn't put the effort in that I needed to in the spring. My job at school is very hectic and stressful with writing IEPs and dealing with end of the year chaos. I went to conference and got recharged. This site has been the best. I have learned so much from others. I have tried the group on msn but didn't care for it as much so this is well worth it!! If there is anyone who lives in a rural area and has tips on how to break out of the same ol' group I would love to hear from you.
I'm in a small town too, & the best thing for me to get out of town shows is doing booths at ladies fairs & such, also my out of town family has been helpful. Of course making those dreaded customer care calls to out of town customers is good too! I'm sure others will have ideas; that's why we all keep coming back here
