Starting a Pampered Chef business in a new area can be challenging, especially for someone new like Meg, who recently moved to San Diego. Engaging with local communities, such as military spouses' clubs, can provide networking opportunities and potential customers. Utilizing resources like the Pampered Chef website for tips, recipes, and business strategies is highly recommended. Hosting informal gatherings, like BBQs, can help build connections and promote the business. Overall, leveraging local resources and community engagement is key to successfully launching the business.

Welcome Meg!!

Welocome Meg! How is navy life treating you? I'm a former navy wife, so I know the feeling of moving to a new place and not knowing anyone. We were always stationed here on the east coast though (Charleston, SC and Groton. CT back in the early 90's) Pampered Chef will help a lot with that. Have you tried leaving flyers at teh commisary? Is there a wife's club that you can join? It would let you meet people and give you potential hostesses to contact. Is your husband on a ship? If so, see if you can host a get together for some of his buddies and invite them to bring their wives/girlfriends so you can meet them. You have a great potential customer base there. Good luck with it all. Let me know how you are doing there.

Thank you everyonePcheframsey: No i havn't even been to the commisary yet. LOL we don't live close enough to go there for our shopping so we just go to a local store. I'm sure theres a wifes club but i'm not sure i want to get involved with the politics of things. I was in a wifes club at our last post and it seemed like there were more into to the ppolitic then anything else. So i might go and see what its about first. But we will be moving to military housing in May. basically the military told us the wait list was 7-9 months so we went and signed a lease and of course 2 weeks later they called and said they have a house for us (of course) So i'm hoping that will help some. also the house we are in is small and looks and feels cluttered cause we moved out of a bigger house so our furnature looks huge in this small house. So i might host a BBQ at a park or the beach or something. So looks like i have a few things to do :-) oh were can i find a flyer that i can use. I don't want to get in trouble if i create one. does PC have flyers that i can just add my info to and print out?
