I plan on doing the Left/Right game. Should I do more than one?

Ok..so this is my very first Bridal Shower & I was soo excited when I was asked to do it.....but then she asked if we could not do the demo...which is fine with me, but I've NEVER done any show with out a demo. PLEASE HELP!!! What do I do? How do I pass time. I don't want everyone staring at...

Everytime I use me APCS, the prongs that holds the apple breaks the core & comes loose halfway though. What am I doing wrong??
