I love this recipe but have been having trouble finding pumpkin bread mix. The last time I had to make pumpkin bread from scratch. Anyone else having trouble?
I would wait until I had the Chipotle seasoning, in my opinion it really makes the recipe. You could start with a lesser amount and taste test, but this is a really good soup.
Stainless is the way to go! I have had stainless cookware for 30 years and it basically still looks new, I have used it on a daily basis and have never been sorry. My mother bought The Pampered Chef stainless and has been using it since Sept., she calls me regularly to tell me how much she...
I take my pastry mat to use when I show the Taffy Apple Tartlets, I use it when I cut out the pie crust circles, then I bring out the new pastry cutter to show how it works on the scrapes of dough.
I wouldn't go to the bother or expense! Just do a walk through the catalog, talk about the benefits of the new products, give additional uses for them, such as olive oil bottles for the new Dripless Pourer/Stopper, buying the whole knife set and block as a 1/2 price item, the benefit of honing...
I agree, the rebate is worth it. I put all my show and supply orders on my Visa. You have to be sure to keep the money from your shows accounted for until the bill is due (I transfer it into a savings account then transfer it back a few days before the bill is due). So far I have earned over...
If I'm not too late don't buy the strawberries in syrup! All it is is about 3-4 sliced strawberries in sugar syrup. Just cut up a few more strawberries and add about 1/2 c. sugar and let it set for about 30 minutes. It works well and is much less expensive.
There is an older recipe called Tuxedo Brownie Cups in the Celebrate cookbook that would be perfect. You would pre-bake the brownie cups and then fill them at the show. You would probably want to double the recipe (one recipe makes 48)but these are delicious and you could even be interactive...
I live in Northern Indiana and our cluster has over a dozen Amish/Mennonite consultants who are VERY successful(they could be the ones you saw at NC). One of our consultants who has an Amish background did a lot of shows for them and recruited one and the ball started rolling. They are very...
Could salt cause the spots?? The first time I used mine I put my turkey in it and seasoned it the night before so the seasoning could soak in and I got spots, they aren't as noticable after a while but I just assumed it was the salt. Ham has alot of salt as well. I don't have any scientific...
Save yourself some money! You're better off offering them a certain product or choice of several at the price of the day. When you order it you put it on their order, saving their discount, plus you get commission. When you offer the host special that ALL comes out of your pocket, no...
There is also the old saying "sometimes you have to spend money to make money" when I first started my business I got my first 6 (yes, 4 years ago we had to have 6 shows our first month) easily. I thought this is going to be great, but no one booked!!! I had one show the following month , no...
