I do the prep and let the guests do some prep as well. When we have enough done, then I demo the rolls and then let some guests try doing the rolls. Fun!

Sorry my attachments didn't make it on the post. Hmmm what did I do wrong..lol. I'll try again.
It seems that my salad file doesn't work. I'll try to post that later.
I make ahead just the rice, and do another rice (1/2 the recipe) so I can show our rice cooker. Then I do the vinegar mixture in a small pot and add to the pre-made rice which I put in the LBSB to mix up, etc. Keep covered! I get the Tezu ready. I have lots of the Bamboo Rolling Mats and...
You're very welcome! :) Happy sushi-ing! If you have any further questions, I'll give them a go. As I said, I love to do this party. I also demonstrate garnishes at the end to dress up the plate - nice presentation. One of the garnishes that I do is the tomato rose. I also let people who...
I've done some Sushi parties. When I make the sushi rice in our rice maker (which does an excellent job), I then dump it out into the large square bamboo bowl. I take the bamboo specialty tool to mix the vinegar mix into it. This is such a great party, I love doing it as so many people are...
I like the larger 7" strainer for rinsing Quinoa, Rice, etc. Have sold a few as I've promoted healthy eating by demonstrating and talking about cooking whole grains. I use the rice cooker and strainer together. Makes for a great "team". :)
Great ideas :) Thanks for sharing. I am going to try the pizza dough. I've always made my own dough, but never thought to use this no-knead bread version for pizza. I can't wait to try it out.
I really enjoy the rosemerry and olives in this bread too. I also make the bread with caraway and flax seed .... that's pretty good too. For a sweet twist I add raisins and dried cranberries with just a "hint" of cinnamon. There's so much you can do, it's just your imagination that limits - ha!
It's moist and chewy, holes in it. It's wonderful with stews, soups, chili's as it "mops" up really well. It also makes incredible toast! Actually after the first nite, that's the way we eat it from then on in....if there's any left. It's just like eating "candy bread" :)
I've been doing this recipe for years, only in my cast iron pot, so I tried the recipe in my DCB. I made the dough up in my batter bowl with lid on, let it sit over night, then the next day, dumped it out on floured counter, let it rest for 15 minutes, then shaped it into a ball gently. I have...
I'm new and I want to share with you what I did with my show last evening. I made a trifle and let the trifle sit while I did the apple berry salsa recipe. I made the cinnamon chips ahead of time and put them in the cool & serve tray. I also brought with me a dots martini glass. I made the...
Hi...first post. I made these cupcakes and I found the lemon extract not a very nice taste. That said, everyone liked them, however, the next time I do them, I'll use lemon juice and zest instead of the extract.
