What is a Cluster? Understanding My Director's Newsletter

Ok, I am confused. I just got a cluster newsletter from my director. There is information about my directors ladies under her and other ladies. Will someone explain to me what is a cluster? Is my director in a group of a few other directors???

You and your fellow Pampered Chef consultants that are under your director are a cluster. Your director has her own upline director, and that upline director has a director as well. Look at it this way. Let's say I have signed 11 people. I am a director and those 11 ladies are my cluster- and you are all clustermates... make sense? Clear as mud?
