Music Game for Pampered Chef Kitchen Shower

In summary, the conversation is about planning a PC shower for a friend and incorporating games into the event. The idea of a "Name that Tune" game with food-related songs is discussed, and several song suggestions are offered. The conversation also includes brainstorming ideas for songs, including using food jingles from TV ads.

This isn't directly related to PC, but I'm doing a PC shower for my best friend in two weeks. She wants it to feel as much like a traditional shower as possible, so I'm trying to incorporate a game or two into the mix. I thought about doing a name that tune kitchen edition and then creating a CD to give to the bride and maybe the winner.

Problem is, I'm drawing a blank at food related songs. I've come up with Peaches by The Presidents, Lemon Tree by Peter Paul and Mary, Pour some sugar on me, American Pie, Cherry Pie...

any other ideas for songs? Do you even like the idea? I have a bunch of SS Season's Best cookbooks, so i was going to put that as a prize or two, too.

Hi there! I think incorporating games into your PC shower for your best friend is a great idea! It's always fun to add some extra activities to make the shower more interactive and enjoyable. As for food related songs, you've already come up with some great ones. Some other ideas could be "Sugar, Sugar" by The Archies, "Margaritaville" by Jimmy Buffett, "Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond, "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison, and "I Want Candy" by The Strangeloves. And I love the idea of giving out SS Season's Best cookbooks as prizes - that's a perfect fit for a PC shower! Best of luck with your event, I'm sure it will be a success!

1. How does the Music Game work for a Pampered Chef Kitchen Shower?

The Music Game is a fun and interactive activity that can be played during a Pampered Chef Kitchen Shower. The host will create a playlist of songs that relate to cooking or kitchen themes. The guests will then listen to short clips of the songs and try to guess the title and artist. The person with the most correct answers wins a prize!

2. What kind of music should be included in the playlist for the Music Game?

The music included in the playlist can range from popular songs about cooking or food to classic tunes that mention kitchen items. The goal is to have a variety of songs that will challenge and entertain the guests.

3. How many rounds should be played in the Music Game?

The number of rounds can vary depending on the length of the shower and the number of guests. It is recommended to have at least 5-10 rounds to keep the game exciting and engaging.

4. Can the Music Game be personalized for the bride or couple?

Absolutely! The host can incorporate songs that are meaningful to the bride or couple, such as their first dance song or a song that represents a special memory. This adds a personal touch to the game and makes it even more fun.

5. Are there any alternative ways to play the Music Game besides guessing the song and artist?

Yes, the host can get creative and come up with different ways to play the game. For example, guests can try to guess the lyrics or the year the song was released. The possibilities are endless and can be tailored to fit the preferences of the guests and the bride or couple.
