Celebrating a Huge Fundraising Success: $2K!

In summary, there are several ways to celebrate a fundraising success of $2,000, such as hosting a party, sending out a press release, or recognizing top donors and volunteers. The allocation of funds should depend on the purpose of the fundraiser, and suggestions include putting the money towards a specific cause, project, or ongoing expenses. To continue building on the success, setting a new goal, engaging in ongoing efforts, and partnering with others can be effective. Incentives and rewards can also be offered to encourage more fundraising success, such as prizes, matching gift programs, and special events. The $2,000 success can also be used to inspire others to give by sharing the story, including it in marketing materials, and thanking and recognizing

Thanks ladies!

jcwarr, I did the fundraiser for a place in New Jersey that works with mentally handicapped children. I know the directory from another online community. She usually does Avon but wanted to try PC instead. I mailed her 25 catalogs and a copy of a special made fundraiser order form. She made a copies to go w/ each catalog and gave them the parents of all the children that use the center. She was very happy with the turnout and said that when the parents found out they were selling PC they were all excited. She plans on doing another one next year this time which is great!! I am extremely happy with the total since the only work I did was mail the catalogs to her!!
