Baking Cakes in Prep Bowls: How Long and at What Temp?

In summary, the baking time for a cake in a prep bowl is typically 20-25 minutes at 350°F (175°C). However, it is important to check for doneness by using a toothpick or other methods such as gently pressing on the cake or checking the internal temperature. It is also recommended to lightly grease the prep bowl before pouring in the batter to prevent sticking. Any type of cake batter can be used, but the baking time may vary depending on the batter's density. If using a glass or ceramic prep bowl, reduce the temperature by 25°F (15°C) to prevent cracking.
