Another way to say "party" or "show"

Does anyone call parties anything other than a party or a show? I'm wondering if there's something more clever that doesn't sound like "selling". What are you calling your parties?

Here are some ideas:

  1. Event: A neutral, versatile term that can be qualified for different occasions (e.g., Launch Event, Shopping Event).
  2. Gathering: Implies a more intimate, friendly meetup with a focus on community.
  3. Showcase: Highlights the demonstration aspect, suggesting an exclusive look at products.
  4. Expo: Suggests a larger, more formal display of products, potentially with multiple vendors or product lines.
  5. Workshop: Indicates an interactive session where attendees can learn how to use the products.
  6. Pop-Up: Implies a temporary, exclusive event to generate excitement.
  7. Exhibition: A term that suggests a more extensive display of products, often used for larger audiences.
  8. Meetup: Casual and community-focused, indicating an informal gathering.
  9. Demo Day: Focuses on the demonstration aspect, suggesting a comprehensive introduction to products.
  10. Soirée: A fancier term that suggests an evening event, potentially with a social or networking focus.
  11. Clinic: Indicates a focus on learning and interaction, often used for beauty and health products.
  12. Boutique: Suggests a curated, exclusive shopping experience.
  13. Open House: Implies a welcoming, no-pressure event where attendees are free to come and go.
  14. Fair: Can indicate a larger gathering, often outdoors, with multiple booths or stands.
  15. Market: Suggests a casual setup where products are displayed for sale, often alongside other vendors.
  16. Tasting: Specifically useful for edible or consumable products, focusing on the experience of trying the product.
  17. Trunk Show: A term borrowed from fashion, suggesting an exclusive preview of products, often before they are available to the broader public.
  18. Sale: Straightforward, indicating that products will be available for purchase, often at a discount.
  19. Preview: Suggests an exclusive look at new products before a wider release.
  20. Session: Neutral and flexible, can be used for a variety of event types.
