SUMMARY

The user encountered restrictions when attempting to set the closing date for a cooking show to 10/31/2009, as the system only allowed dates between 11/01/2009 and 11/29/2009. The discussion highlights the requirement for a minimum 24-hour duration between the start and end dates. The user suggests a workaround by initially setting the dates to 10/31-11/01 and later adjusting them to 10/30-10/31 to ensure the closing date appears as 10/31 for order placements.

I just added a party to my calendar (YAY!) and had it update to the website. I'd like for the show to close that day (10/31/2009), however, when I put the same ending date as the starting date, it gives a message that it has to be between 11/01/2009 & 11/29/2009.

First of all, why can't I put 10/31/2009? Second of all, why would the ending date have to be 11/29 & not 11/30 if it was giving me until the next month end? Or even 11/15 for the specials? I don't understand. :grumpy:

It wants 24 hours. Just make the dates 10/30-10/31 & it should take. ;)

Oh, just realized this might be a cooking show. Hmmmm. You can put in 10/31-11-1, send out the invitations & then change it to 10/30-10/31 so that when people place an order they will see the closing date as 10/31. Should work.
