Need Host from Hell Party Suggestions? Get Help Here! | $15 Credit Dilemma

I was just going to say you need to be VERY careful about keeping FPV for yourself, even if you are the one who added all the orders. I had someone who I THOUGHT was a friend, host a show for me. Her show ended up being about $600, I had orders from my family that added another $300 so I told...

Too Many Consultants on Pampered Chef FB Page? Yikes!

This isn't just a problem with PC, I am a fan of another DS company on FB and saw our worst fears as consultants come up. The company posted a status and a potential customer asked a general question about the product. Within an hour there were 67 comments from consultants "offering" their...

When Does Silpada Change Their Catalog? Questions Answered!

Actually, it depends on when the last show you went to was. A supplement to the catalog came out at the end of Feb. with new pieces and July 25th is when the big catalog comes out.

    Warning: Conference Spoilers Inside!!!

I am dying to know what the new products are but have decided to wait until I get the consultant news. There is nothing like actually having the brochure in your hands to look over again and again. I went to conference last year and it was amazing but this year I have decided to attend another...

I Know We Have Had This Thread Before, but There Are so Many New

I don't think District Heights is far from me. I live in Waldorf, which is in Southern Maryland. How old are your children? Maybe we can take a field trip together sometime.

I Know We Have Had This Thread Before, but There Are so Many New

Yes, the actual Calvert School is about 45 min. from my house, funny thing is that I learned about it from a good friend of mine who lives in Florida:rolleyes: . Many of my childhood friends are choosing to homeschool so that makes it easier. When we were growing up nobody ever would have...

I Know We Have Had This Thread Before, but There Are so Many New

I love Calvert!!I homeschool my two daughters 9 and 7 using Calvert. I also purchased the pre-k program this year for my 3 year old who loves it!!! Calvert school is well worth the money, I don't have to stress over their work, everything is laid out for them. Also, with 4 kids I will get...

What are the top recipes for this season's best dishes?

I have made the chocolate brownies 6 times. The first time I made them I used the food chopper and it was horrible how long it took. I also used the premium mixed nuts instead of regular. The second time I made them I used the Santoku Knife instead of the chopper for the chocolate and it...

Baking Bacon on Stoneware: Is it Easy, Messy, and Tasty?

I'm sure you have thought about this but just in case, do you drain the bacon with paper towels. I also hate grease on my bacon, but I take each piece I eat and wrap it in a paper towel first to soak up all the grease. I do this with everything that has grease on it not just bacon. Jennifer

Baking Bacon on Stoneware: Is it Easy, Messy, and Tasty?

Bacon on the bar pan is the ONLY way we cook the bacon now. My husband says it should be a sin for bacon (a food he already loved) to melt in your mouth like cotton candy!! There's no grease splatter, no constantly standing over the stove, no yelling at the kids to get away from the hot pan in...

I Had a Horrible Night - I Ran Over Our Dog, Momo

I'm so sorry!! In March my 4 children ages 8,6,3,2 and my nephew age 3, were playing in my MIL driveway with the dogs. They were throwing the ball to Toby (he was my MIL's dog for 10 years) and he would run and get it. We live on a farm and the road deadends so pretty much no traffic...

Testing Cookware with an Ice Cube: What's It All About?

Thanks for the explanation. I'm going to feel pretty silly when I explain to my friend that we watched ice melt for no reason :D ! Jennifer

Testing Cookware with an Ice Cube: What's It All About?

I would also like to know! I thought you put an ice cube in the pan and pass it around to show it melt. I did that for a friend of mine and we took out my old crappy pan also and put an ice cube in it and nothing different happened. Both ice cubes melted at the same pace, not sure what I am...
