I don't have anything but I would do something like a one stop shopping extravaganza. In the flyer give a reason for the open house, such as get your holiday shopping done early this year. Then in the flyer put a little blurb about each company, what they do, who the consultant is, etc...I did one of these last November with 2 other girls and it was great...plus I got the host bennies of the two other companies since I had it at my house.

Open HouseI had my open house on Saturday. I send out 75 invites and about 30 in nieghborhood. I had about 15 people come, some who didn't come still placed orders. I am up to $860 so far with more orders coming in.
Attached is my flyer. I offered a discount for guests and past hosts of mine...

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some effective themes for an open house event?

Choosing a theme can make your open house more engaging. Popular themes include a spa day for beauty products like Mary Kay, a kitchen showcase for Tupperware, or a holiday gift guide for Avon. Tailor your theme to highlight the products you’re selling and create a fun atmosphere that encourages guests to interact with the items.

How can I promote my open house event?

Promoting your open house can be done through social media, email newsletters, and personal invitations. Create eye-catching graphics and share them on platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Consider offering a special incentive, such as a discount or a free gift for attendees, to encourage more people to come.

What types of activities should I include during the open house?

Incorporate interactive activities such as product demonstrations, mini-makeovers, or cooking classes, depending on the products you’re showcasing. You can also host raffles or giveaways to keep guests engaged and excited about the products. Make sure to have a designated area for guests to try out products themselves.

How can I create a welcoming atmosphere at my open house?

Set up your space to be inviting by using good lighting, comfortable seating, and pleasant scents. Offer refreshments like snacks and drinks to make guests feel at home. Play background music that fits the theme of your event, and ensure that you or your team are available to greet guests and answer questions as they arrive.

What follow-up strategies should I use after the open house?

After the event, follow up with attendees through thank-you emails or messages, expressing your appreciation for their attendance. Include any special offers or promotions that were discussed during the event. This is also a great opportunity to gather feedback and gauge interest in future events or products.
