I received a request from a host of a show I am having on Thurs to bring the DBS. I used them ONCE and didn't like them...my host is making cupcakes up ahead of time and thinks it would be fun for her guests to decorate them. Does anyone have any tips on what would make this easier to do? Tips on filling them, etc. I read the thread with DBS vs EAD and I am going to bring that as well. Thanks!

1. Make sure to give your host plenty of tips, ideas, and resources for how to fill the DBS and make their cupcakes look great. This could include everything from recipes for frostings, icings, and fillings to creative decorating techniques. 2. Provide a variety of decorating options. Have your host offer different sprinkles, candies, and toppings for guests to choose from. This will make the decorating more fun and creative.3. Have all the necessary tools and supplies ready for your host's guests. This could include DBS and EAD tips, a variety of bags for filling with icing and decorations, and clean work surfaces.4. Consider having a practice round or two before the show. This will give your host and their guests a chance to get familiar with the process and troubleshoot any potential issues.5. Have fun! Encourage your host and their guests to come up with creative and unique designs. Cupcake decorating can be a great activity that everyone can enjoy.

1. Use a firm frosting: The DBS work best with a firm frosting, such as a buttercream or cream cheese frosting. This will help the frosting hold its shape when decorating.2. Chill the cupcakes: Before filling and decorating the cupcakes, make sure they are chilled. This will make them easier to handle and less likely to crumble.3. Use a piping bag: Use a piping bag to fill the cupcakes with frosting. This will help you control the amount of filling and prevent any mess.4. Use a small tip: When filling the cupcakes, use a small piping tip to make a small hole in the center of the cupcake. This will make it easier to fill them with frosting.5. Use a spoon: If you don't have a piping bag, you can also use a spoon to fill the cupcakes. Just make a small hole in the center of the cupcake and use the spoon to scoop the frosting into the cupcake.6. Use a filling with a thicker consistency: If you are using a filling other than frosting, make sure it has a thicker consistency. This will prevent it from oozing out of the cupcake.7. Practice with the DBS beforehand: If you are not familiar with using the DBS, practice with them beforehand. This will help you get a feel for how much pressure to use and how to control the flow of frosting.8. Decorate with a light touch: When decorating the cupcakes, use a light touch with the DBS. Too much pressure can cause the frosting to come out too quickly and make a mess.9. Have extra frosting on hand: It's always a good idea to have extra frosting on hand in case you need to fix any mistakes or add more decoration.10. Have fun and be creative: Decorating cupcakes with the DBS can be a fun and creative activity. Encourage your guests to be creative and have fun with their designs.
