I used my neighbor's microwave to roast the garlic because I didn't want to take the time to do it in the oven (and since I was using the batter bowl sold $92 worth of PC because she asked about it). I mixed everything together (but forgot the southwest seasoning) except the beans and cooked it on low for 5 hours. I then added the beans and cooked for another 30 minutes until it was time to leave. There were approximately 80 people there and it was gone about halfway through the line. Everyone kept saying how good it was and wanted the recipe. I happened to have it with me and there was a copier there so we made one for everyone. I also booked 3 more shows (to get the DCB), sold 2 other DCBs and have a few others thinking about booking to get it.
For White Chicken Chili, you will need chicken breast, white beans, green chilies, onion, garlic, chicken broth, cumin, oregano, and cream cheese or sour cream for creaminess. You can also add toppings like cilantro, avocado, or cheese for extra flavor.
Yes, you can make White Chicken Chili in a Crockpot! Simply add all the ingredients to the Crockpot, set it on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, and let it cook until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
Yes, stovetop cooking is generally faster. You can prepare White Chicken Chili on the stovetop in about 30-45 minutes, allowing you to enjoy your meal sooner compared to the longer cooking time in a Crockpot.
Yes, you can use frozen chicken in your White Chicken Chili. If using a Crockpot, you can add the frozen chicken directly; just ensure it cooks thoroughly. For stovetop cooking, it’s best to thaw the chicken first for even cooking.
White Chicken Chili pairs well with cornbread, tortilla chips, or a fresh salad. You can also serve toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, and diced avocado to enhance the flavors and make it more festive for your Colorguard party.
