 My Son's preschool is having a FALL party Wed. & I'm to bring 2 games to play for class of 16 three year olds. Having trouble finding ones that aren't for halloween. Any ideas? I've tried searching the web and haven't found anything. Thanks for the help!

Here are some links to some good websites and a few ideas I have done in the past. Hope some of these are helpful to you :)

Preschool Education Games & Outdoors : Seasons > Fall
Preschool games by Jean Warren

Play a game like doggy doggy where's your bone (you split the kids into groups and have them find the bone). Have them search for a pumpkin or an apple. Tell them warmer/colder.

Make a scarecrow>>like pin the tail on the donkey but building a scarecrow.

Pumpkin Patch>>which ones different?

Squirrel Song
Here is a fun action chant about squirrels in the fall from Elizabeth C.

Gray Squirrel, Gray Squirrel
Shake your bushy tail (pretend to shake tail)
Gray Squirrel, Gray Squirrel
Shake your bushy tail (pretend to shake tail)
Wrinkle up your funny nose (act out line)
Put a nut between your toes (pretend to eat a nut)
Gray Squirrel Shake your bushy tail (Pretend to shake a tail)

Pumpkin Patch Di-vine!
Promote body awareness and stimulate discussion about the uniqueness of each child's fingerprints with this preschool activity by Deborah C.

Materials: Yellow construction paper (may cut in half), orange and green washable paint, paint brushes, bucket of water or sink for washing hands, paint aprons or old shirts and green marker or cotton swabs.

Description: Place the paper on a table in front of the child. Have him or her make a fist with one hand. Paint the top of the fist (fingers and knuckles) orange. Press the fist onto the sheet of paper to resemble a pumpkin. Repeat until the paper has as many pumpkins prints as desired. Next, make a green fingerprint at the top of each pumpkin for a stem. When the paint is dry, use a green marker to add vines to the picture. You may wish to use a cotton swab for this so that the child can make the vines him or her self.

Fall Poem
This action poem, about Fall colors and the fun we can have with leaves, is sent by Melissa W.

Red and yellow, green and brown.
count off colors on fingers
Leaves are falling to the ground.
simulate falling leaves with hands
We pile them up OH SO HIGH:
'pile' leaves with hands
Then we JUMP in!
pretend to jump in
My dog and I!

Sensory: "Fall Feely Box"
Learning different textures and identifying them is fun for young preschool and kindergarten children during this early childhood activity by Jana M.

Materials: Leaves, acorns, pine cones, nuts, apples, and other things you have discussed. You'll need a box the children can fit their hands into without seeing inside. I use a large shoe box. With a hole cut in the top.

Description: Teachers, without the children seeing you, add the objects in the box. During circle time have the children take turns feeling inside the box. Ask each child to describe what he or she feels and what they think it is.
