5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth out the top.

7. Drizzle the peanut butter over the cake batter and use a toothpick or knife to swirl it into the batter.

Then add the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes until well combined. Finally, stir in the boiling water until the batter is smooth. Pour the batter into prepared cake pans and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

How do I store leftover chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting?

To store leftover chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting, cover the cake with plastic wrap or store it in an airtight container. It can be kept at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week. If you want to store it for a longer period, consider freezing individual slices wrapped in plastic wrap and then in aluminum foil for up to 3 months.

Can I make this cake gluten-free?

Yes, you can make this chocolate cake gluten-free by substituting the all-purpose flour with a gluten-free flour blend. Make sure the blend you choose is suitable for baking and includes xanthan gum or another binding agent to help with the cake's structure. Follow the same measurements and instructions for the best results.
