Do you all use Pampered Chef recipes at everying cooking show? I made an awesome pizza last night for my boyfriend (he's lactose intolerant so I needed to invent something without dairy) and he said "you should make this for ALL you shows!!!" after he ate it. What do you think?

If you use a PC recipe, you have the possibility of selling cookbooks. However, the recipe could be used as a way to get people on your email list or something like that.

I only use PC recipes, just my choice though. There are a lot of great recipes that PC has, why reinvent the wheel?

I think that you can use whatever recipe you want to. True we don't have to reinvent the wheel and there are tons of fabulous PC recipes to choose from, but...
We are also trying to show people they can use our tools in their kitchen for everyday use on everything they love to make at home.

I do all kinds of recipes with my kids cooking class, I just tweak everything to taste better and to incorporate our PC tools. It's very easy to do that and sometimes you can even show more tools when you just make it up as you go. Cross selling is easier and the cookbooks really sell themselves. Our recipes are very popular and people know they are getting some great favorites and great new recipes from our cookbooks!
Just my 2 cents! :p

Hi there! I'm so glad to hear that you made an awesome pizza for your boyfriend using a Pampered Chef recipe! We do use Pampered Chef recipes at most of our cooking shows, but it's always great to hear when someone has success with one of our recipes at home. I would definitely recommend sharing your recipe and success with your fellow consultants and clients at your next cooking show. It's always exciting to hear about new and delicious recipes that our consultants have tried and loved. Keep up the great cooking!

Frequently Asked Questions

What ingredients are needed for the vegan pizza recipe?

The vegan pizza recipe typically requires a pizza dough (store-bought or homemade), tomato sauce, a variety of vegetables (such as bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, and spinach), vegan cheese, and your choice of herbs and spices for seasoning. You can also add plant-based protein options like tofu or tempeh for added flavor and texture.

How can I make the pizza dough from scratch?

To make pizza dough from scratch, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 packet of active dry yeast, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a bowl. Gradually add warm water until the mixture forms a dough. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth, then let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.

What cooking tools do I need for the cooking show?

For the cooking show, you will need basic kitchen tools such as a mixing bowl, measuring cups and spoons, a rolling pin for the dough, a baking sheet or pizza stone, a knife for chopping vegetables, and a spatula for spreading the sauce and cheese. Having a pizza cutter on hand for serving is also helpful.

Can I customize the toppings for the vegan pizza?

Absolutely! One of the best things about making vegan pizza is the ability to customize it to your taste. You can add any vegetables you like, such as zucchini, artichokes, or olives. You can also experiment with different sauces, such as pesto or barbecue sauce, and various types of vegan cheese or even nutritional yeast for a cheesy flavor.

How can I ensure the pizza is boyfriend-approved?

To ensure the pizza is boyfriend-approved, focus on using flavorful ingredients and a good balance of textures. Incorporate his favorite toppings, and consider adding a spicy kick with red pepper flakes or a drizzle of hot sauce. You can also make the crust crispy by pre-baking it for a few minutes before adding the toppings, which can enhance the overall taste and presentation.
