After coming home from Conference all pumped up and ready to go, what is everyone using for a script to get more bookings in July and August? I would love to hear. (I am really excited about the Fall stuff, but still need July and August booked)

Offer July and August bookings with the assumption that they will get BOOKINGS from their show into Sept. and beyond. That way, the July or August host doesn't feel "left out" of the new products reveal! AND they will be getting their host special at those later shows!

Yes, Kelly that has been my dilemma. I want to book July and August so I dont' want to reveal too much about all the new products.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best way to follow up with leads after a conference in July and August?

After a conference, it's essential to follow up promptly. Use a friendly and personalized approach. Start by thanking them for visiting your booth or attending your session. Mention something specific about your conversation to jog their memory. Then, invite them to a cooking show or offer a special promotion for the summer months to encourage bookings.

How can I create urgency in my booking script for July and August?

To create urgency, highlight limited-time offers or exclusive summer promotions. For example, you could say, "Book a party this month and receive an extra 10% off your order!" Additionally, emphasize the benefits of hosting during the summer, such as gathering friends and family for a fun, relaxed cooking experience while enjoying seasonal recipes.

What should I include in my script to make it more engaging?

Make your script engaging by incorporating questions that encourage dialogue. Ask about their favorite summer recipes or cooking experiences. Use storytelling to share a success story from a past host, showcasing the fun and benefits of hosting a Pampered Chef party. This personal touch can help build a connection and make them more interested in booking.

How can I handle objections when booking parties in July and August?

When faced with objections, listen actively and empathize with their concerns. Common objections might include scheduling conflicts or lack of interest from friends. Respond by offering flexible dates or suggesting a virtual party option. Reassure them that hosting can be a low-pressure, enjoyable experience, and remind them of the benefits they’ll receive as a host.

What follow-up strategies should I use after my initial booking script?

After your initial contact, use a multi-channel follow-up strategy. Send a thank-you email or message summarizing your conversation and confirming the details of their booking. Follow up with a phone call a few days later to answer any questions and provide additional information. Consider sending a reminder a week before the event to keep it fresh in their mind and encourage excitement.
