($450 of that was from outside orders) Plus I got 3 bookings out of her (she is nailing down her 3rd one which was a guest today who really wants the June host special)

To prepare for your first Pampered Chef show, start by familiarizing yourself with the products and the catalog. Create a guest list and send out invitations, either digitally or physically. Plan a menu that showcases the products, and practice any recipes you intend to demonstrate. Additionally, ensure you have all necessary supplies, including order forms and catalogs, ready for your guests.
To make your first show engaging, focus on interactive elements. Encourage guests to participate in the cooking process, ask questions, and share their own cooking experiences. Use fun games or giveaways to keep the atmosphere lively. Additionally, share personal stories about why you love Pampered Chef products to create a connection with your guests.
Following up with guests is crucial for building relationships and increasing sales. Send a thank-you note or email to each guest, expressing your appreciation for their attendance. Include a summary of the products demonstrated and any specials or promotions available. You can also ask for feedback on the show and invite them to host their own show or place an order.
Handling objections or questions during your show requires confidence and knowledge. Listen carefully to the guest's concern and acknowledge it. Provide clear and informative answers, and share personal experiences with the product if applicable. If you don’t know the answer, it’s okay to admit it and offer to follow up after the show with the correct information.
If you don’t meet your sales goals at your first show, don’t be discouraged. Use it as a learning experience to evaluate what worked and what didn’t. Consider reaching out to guests for feedback and think about how you can improve your presentation or product selection for future shows. Remember, building a successful direct sales business takes time and persistence.
