Good luck! My freind was thinking about a kids resale shop! ;)

I voted!

Just from my perspective as the mom of a little boy, names like "sugar and spice" and "daisies and denim" sound more girly, and I probably wouldn't think to shop there, thinking it was just girls clothes.

Oh, speaking of names...the my child's closet one.... we have a
"corey's closet" in our hood. Just a thought to use your kids name in place of... ;)

Twice as Nice is a very popular name for such stores in my area. You may want to see if it is taken. One saw that it was and named the store Twice IS Nice.

Yes, I sure did. Our county has all of the assumed names online so that makes it pretty easy. I started applying for all the licenses, sales tax paperwork, etc. yesterday. There is SO much to complete. Ü

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some creative name ideas for my children's resale boutique?

Consider names that evoke fun and playfulness, such as "Tiny Treasures," "Little Sprouts Boutique," or "Kiddie Couture." You can also incorporate your location or a personal touch, like "Emma's Little Closet" or "Sunnyvale Kids Resale."

How can I choose a name that reflects my boutique's style?

Think about the vibe you want to convey. If your boutique focuses on high-end children's fashion, names like "Chic Tots" or "Posh Pipsqueaks" might work. For a more casual, everyday feel, consider names like "Playful Threads" or "Everyday Kids Boutique."

Should I include the word 'resale' in my boutique's name?

Including 'resale' can clarify your business model and attract customers looking for second-hand items. However, if you prefer a more upscale image, you might opt for terms like 'boutique' or 'shop' instead, such as "Little Luxe Boutique."

How can I ensure my boutique's name is unique?

Research existing businesses in your area and online to avoid duplication. You can also check domain availability if you plan to create a website. A unique name will help you stand out and build a recognizable brand.

What should I consider when naming my boutique?

Consider your target audience, the types of products you will sell, and the overall message you want to convey. Make sure the name is easy to spell and pronounce, and think about how it will look on signage and marketing materials.
