It was on last night on ABC....OMG, I haven't laughed that hard in awhile! Who knew people falling into mud & bouncing off 'big balls' could be so entertaining:D Dh, my girls & I had a good time watching those people make goofs of themselves....you should check it out next week if you missed it!

(it's a new game show; the people have to go through these obstacle courses, trying not to "wipeout" into the water or mud...the winner gets 50K)

We have watched a Asian version on cable before! DH told me this one on last night but I was busy and couldn't watch it.

I started watching I survived a Japanese game show and didnt like it. So I didnt finish watching it.

I watched Wipeout last night and thought it was soooo funny! It's the American version of a show called "MXC" on cable.

That's the show I was thinking of! We also like watching Ninja Warrior on G4.

It was so funny!! We use to watch the one on some channel where it was American voice making fun of the foreign one, so, we love that it is actually a show now for real.

That MCX one is actually a Japanese Show-Ninja Warrior! We loved watching those shows when we lived in Japan. There were others too...like one where the participants would jump over these huge stacks (for lack of a better word)...just stacked up levels is the best way I could put it! My kids play Ninja Warrior all the time.......

I thought they both were hilarious!! My DS laughed so hard I thought he was going to pee his pants.

I missed it! I am sure that my DH and all the kids would love it...we have seen the Japanese version once or twice and laughed a lot!

Oh Man I missed it - I wanted to see it by seeing the commercials - Will it be a weekly thing all summer??

ROFLMAO!!! That show was so hilarious!! I will definately tune in next time!!

I watched part of it briefly---thought the commentators were quite annoying. I was turned off by that!

Yes, I think so! I noticed on the abc website you can view the episode!

I usually see previews for that kind of show and think how dumb...but my husband had it on and we were all laughing! It is very rare that you watch tv these days and REALLY laugh...although I felt bad cause some of those looked painful!! I will tune in again.. :)

DH and I finally got a date night, so we missed it, but my 3 1/2 year old talked the babysitter (my SIL) into it. My DD loves watching "Inja Foyer" (Ninja Warrior) with daddy, and after watching 10 minutes of Wipeout apparently set up her own obstacle course in the den and was leaping from cushion to cushion. I can't wait to watch her watching it next week!

I watched both & laughed so hard DH could hear me out on "the back 40."

After a stressful day, some mindless entertainment was just what I needed.

We thought they were both hilarious!

That is true!
I know what you mean about feeling bad; some of those people had to be covered in bruises!

Wipeout is my new favorite show. I have not laughed that hard out loud at a tv show in a long time!

we t-vod wipeout and watched it last night. I laughed so hard I about peed myself. That show is hillarious. My DH liked it too and he's never into reality shows.

My favorite comment of the episode?"She's collecting her thought."

You can still catch it on the net. I watched it with my husband last night we both had a good laugh... I told him he should go and take a "crack" at it too :)

Mine too Rae, I thought DH was going to choke on his tea he was laughing so hard:D

Actually, the funniest thing for me was really The Furry Guy. He took a few days off work to help the guys doing our roof. (Usually he's on second shift, so he's not home in the evening.) He kept telling people how they could do different stunts easier--leapfrog in a more horizontal fashion on the big balls, squat more before jumping over the sweep bar, etc. I kept reminding him that they couldn't hear him. LOL!

Maybe he should sign up and give the show a try :)

He said he'd have signed up if they had it when it was in his 20's. Now he's feeling old and creaky, especially after working on the roof all week.

I'm glad to see so many of you have the same sense of humor as me!

Rae, I'm in my late 20's (close to 30) & don't think I could do the show!

Trust me, I couldn't have done it even in my 20's. The Furry Guy would have had a pretty good shot, though.
