I had to put this on this thread. Last weekend Loverboy, an awesome 80s group from Canada, visited my county fair. THey were awesome! I used to roller skate to Working for The Weekend. They're coming to our local casino with Eddy Money in October. I'm going back to get a shirt (they didn't have any with them) and get an album signed. Did any of you Canadians grow up loving them as much as I did here in the states?

I used to love them when I was younger! My favorite song was Working for the weekend, also loved The Kid is Hot Tonight :)

Great to hear someone else remembers.

LOL.... I loved them way back... was Mike Reno still the singer?
My uncle just went on a hunting/camping trip with him last year, I thought he was retired.

Mike is still the lead singer. We watched a video online from the 80s and put it side by side with the current photos, and his movements are exactly the same! Wierd. They were great.

I saw them in Bathurst last month - wow I enjoyed the concert better than Bon Jovi in Moncton....please don't tell my friends hehehe

I LOVED them too, wish they were coming close to hear and I could get hubby to go.
