After todays CC tech. difficulties, I started wondering.....Back before the WWW existed what in the world did TPC use to communicate all their info?? Via letters and phone calls on a daily basis? Telecourses for training I imagine but seriously, No Consultants Corner to log onto every day?! How in the world did consultants function!

I think we all suffer from TMI. I don't remember getting so many updates back when the internet wasn't so popular. We'd get the CN and I looked forward to getting it. Now, I don't really care so much about getting it because I've already seen the whole thing online.

At our cluster meeting, my D was talking about things to read "when you get your CN this week". I just laughed and said, "But it's been online for a few days now and I've already read the whole thing." Of course, then I put in a plug for Deb and her article. How much fun that was to say, "I know the consultant on the cover!" Even my D - who thinks C/S is mainly a waste of time - was really impressed!

Instead of the Weekly Bites we used to get postcards (every other week as I recall) that had information on it and of course the month KCN.

yep. it was the postcards, the newsletter (they both used to have a different name, commission check and a letter if you were going to go inactive thats it

I just try to browse, not read CN online. That way when I get it in the mail, it's still new.
