You know what's really cool?
My Director and I get to go to New Directors Academy together in May! We are so pumped. It's funny because w/ my promotion, she's now an AD...and it also makes my current AD a SD! Whooo Hooo!
Anyway - she lost her directorship for one month last Fall (I think it was the month I had pneumonia.
) and during that time when she wasn't technically a director, she qualified for the promotion where you could earn the $250 travel expenses to a NDA. HO called her last week and told her she could come to the May NDA, and pick up her $250 check while there. She told them she'd actually been a director for 13 years, and they said she could still come! SO - she's going with me! :love: I am so so so excited!
