Pampered Chef New Product: Collapsible Serving Bowl | Active Consultant

In summary, the conversation is about a consultant who has seen many Pampered Chef items being sold on eBay, some of which are brand new and items from breast cancer initiatives. The consultant is upset and wonders why Pampered Chef can't stop this from happening. Another consultant provides email addresses for reporting internet violations and the conversation turns hostile towards this consultant. The original consultant is reminded that reporting these violations is necessary for a fair business environment.

I couldn't remember where we were supposed to report this, but obviously this is an active consultant:

I have seen at lease 2000 items on ebay so far and I know most of it was from consultants! I think its bad when you see items that are brand new or items that were breast cancer intensives being bid on What is happening ? Why can't PC stop them?they are making profit off of the items for self gain . How is this going to stop? whom do we need to talk to?

There's really no point in getting upset. The best thing you can do is report them and let home office take care of them. Then go out and work your business. :)

I contacted a person selling a new item from PC and they said they sell for people and that they don't ask questions about the items. Pampered Chef will have no way of finding out what consultants are selling items this way. So sad that some people do this but it is a fact of like. Just like you can find anything you want on Ebay. Just report the people and PC will deal with it.

Hopefully by the response of her auctions, some of the new stuff should sell pretty good. It's sad when people resort to this!

Oh NO!! It's starting already!! I don't even have that bowl!!!

Thanks Chef ann for posting the emails for internet violations, you think you are SO cool for knowing those emails?

Are you a Director?

Why is your highest show only $1300?

Did it ever occur to you, that being a tattle-tale is bad for your health?

Allison, please calm down. I've read your other thread and you are obviously very upset and hurt right now. It might be best to walk away from the computer before things get said we all regret.

Don't attack Ann. She was just posting info that has been discussed here repeatedly. Reporting internet violations is a touchy subject. Don't shoot the messenger.

Allison - did it ever occur to you why HO has the internet policy? It is so we are all on an even footing. If you do something that you know to be against policy, why are you surprised when it comes back to bite you? And, how does attacking someone who tried to let you know nicely that you were violating the rules. And, what the heck does being a director have to do with it? I have read a few of your other posts from today and you come across (read - this is what I see when you post, but I realize that intent and emphasis is hard to understand online) as having a temper tantrum because you were "caught" doing something you knew you weren't supposed to.

Anyone can get those emails by calling HO.

Ann is very well respected here at Chef Success and if you knew anything or anybody here on Chef Success you would know that.

I think maybe you need a time out or even a nap then come back and apologize to Ann.

That looks suspiciously like a threat. How juvenile.

With all the posts that are on this site about internet violations and selling on ebay, nobody should be surprised if they do it and get caught. Intentional or not. That rule is there so we all have a fair chance at our businesses. It's no secret.

Leave Ann alone.....if you weren't breaking the rules you wouldn't be where you are plus you don't know who turned you in so back off of Ann. She is a huge help to all of us on here.

Yeah, what she said!

Wow Kasey, I've never seen you fired-up before. Way to go girl!

Ann is a hugh help to all of us & she (attack girl) is crazy if she thinks she is going to attack Ann on here when she is obviously breaking rules. Plus, who changed the rules at HO & told her who reported her? My blood is boiling! Ann is a good person period.

Ya know I love ya, Ann. Just messin' with you :)

I bet Ann's post is not why HO responded to Allison. It was probably her own negative reponse that made them contact her. ("Should I tell those hosts to cancel because I violated policy ~ puh-lease I hate chef police ~ if you aren't part of HO don't bother me!") I bet if she responded with a thanks I didn't know that they would have looked the other way.

I'd be more worried about HO cancelling my contract due to poor representation than who ratted me out. They're lenient but I think giving them attitude would push it a bit.

OK, tell her I said Myspace IS bad!!!! I've seen some nasty stuff on that!!!! Stuff I'm embarrased to see much less have my kids exposed to!

However, this site does get VERY dramatic. What do you expect when you get a ton of women and a few quirky guys together. (Said with love KG - couldn't resist! ;) )

Now, for those who are new I really didn't mean ANYTHING by quirky - don't get your undies in a bunch - I just have a funny sense of humor. KG is truly a normal, honest guy. I just figure you must be crazy to hang around with us chics!!!! LOL! :D

I went cruising on myspace last summer (after I found out my 13 y/o nephew cruised it on a regular basis) just to see what was out there...... OMG I was shocked at how much porn was on that site and how trashy some of the people were (nasty trashy, not just trashy trashy) and how easy it was to access it. I would absolutely not allow my child on that site. Thankfully he is only interested in PBS and hotwheels sites right now.

So....inquiring minds want to know....what is the difference between "trash trashy" and "nasty trashy".

err....at least one inquiring mind :blushing:

Yeah, and I'd agree Ann isn't naughty...usually...remember that whole conversation about how her and DH sit at opposite ends of the couch... ;)

Well, put it this way....there were so many girls with extremely poor tasting naked pictures of themselves and many of them listed "f......g' as their favorite thing to do or what they wanted to do to you and many of them had a version of the f word in their screen name. It was pretty sad. I was shocked. And the more I thought it couldn't get any worse....it did.

Hey All,

I know, it has been a long time since I have posted on here. When I started reading this post, I was a little upset about that bowl being on ebay, but that was NOTHING compared to how I felt when I saw the attack on ChefAnn. I had the pleasure to meet her (as well as other Cheffers) last year at conference, and I know that she goes completely "out of her way" to do for others on this site and in person.

If you can't abide by the rules, then walk away from this great company we have all decided to join.

Ann, you rock, don't EVER stop being who you are. Even though I don't post all that often, I do appreciate all you do for everyone. I can't wait to see ya'll again this year. WAVE 3 WILL ROCK CHICAGO!!!

Brag away, I'd be proud of her too - on BOTH accounts!!!!

...and if she ever wants to visit a good engineering school or needs a recommendation to one, send me a note... ;)

I was pretty surprised to come back to the post to find the drama...kinda feel bad for starting something, but I still think reporting it was the right thing to do. Maybe I should peruse eBay for the purpose of doing that now ;) jk

well frozenchef,
I don't think you started drama. I think you had a legit point. I do not understand why there are so many people out there defending people that think it is ok to cheat or just ignore that they did something against the contracts they signed.
I was taught that if you accidentally did it once and did not know better ok they get a warning. But when it is constant then it is intentional there should be some consequence.
I was taught to do the right thing since i was a little girl and be honest. If people take short cuts it's not fair to others that worked hard at doing it right.

YOU didn't start anything... you asked a question and Ann answered your question. Nothing you said is cause for you to "feel bad".

When you happen upon someone selling on ebay, there is nothing wrong with sending it to HO. It is HO's job to talk with the seller and find out the true story. However, if you do decide to go onto ebay to look for violators, you might not want to advertise that on here. You are likely to get some unwanted posts and/or PMs. Instead, spend your time working your business and trust that HO is doing all they can to stop the unethical sales of PC items... anyway, that JMHO.

It really upsets me when I see items from conference and the host & guest specials on ebay right after that item was at 60% off or the free items. I'm glad there are people out there that are reporting to HO when they see this. I'm behind Ann and anyone else that is the PC business that is doing the ethical thing.
