I don't know about all of you, but when I look at the New Scoop & Drain, all I see is a big Kitty Litter Scoop!! :yuck: And folks at my shows have said the same thing! I know it's new but that could go away.
For a $1000 show, I would be happy to have the stuff shipped to ME and I would sort and bag and then drop it all off to my host. Wouldn't really take THAT much more time and it would keep my host happy. And a Happy Host will tell others about you!
I think the confetti salsa is good, but seems a bit too dry. I add some papaya to mine and instead of the lime juice I use a tsp of Raspberry balsamic vinegar. The vinegar will make the other fruits and veggies release their flavors and the salsa becomes a bit more wet. Plus, the papaya adds...
I don't know.... 17 people is a good amount. I had a "Show" that had 6 people and it ended up being a $650 show, so I never cancel! If you can work this out with your host, I think this could be beneficial. Maybe you could not do a "Traditional" show with a demo, but more of a 20/30 minute...
Feb shows can be submitted up until March 15th, however, you will not get credit in Feb for that show. It will go on March's tally. If you want your double points for Feb, you will need to submit it no later than the 28th.
I haven't had a problem with it, BUT.... I have had 2 plastic cups stick together before....... This will probably work the same. Put ice in the inner cup and then dunk it in warm-hot water. It should come apart easily.Also, the inner cup is NOT dishwasher safe, so maybe that's the problem...
