Hurting for bookings is exactly what it's called! I have 1 catalog show in process & maybe 1 on the way. She only wanted to add to another show, but I told her about having $150.00 in sales to call it a show! Hopefully she'll pull through. If it makes you feel any better - I HAVE ZERO...

I always say I am going to leave some at the salon, Dr's. Dentists, etc. Have yet to do so. I'm thinking of leaving some at the laundromat (everybody needs clean clothes:p )

This is a great promotion - haven't tried it yet, but will at my next show!

I was thinking about joining the Chamber too.:confused: But I am almost embarrassed because it's so professional - not that we aren't. I am definately going to look into it after I post this. :)

I know how you feel. I did a show with 2 guests + host, was at the home for 3 hours & had a $60.00 show. I was more upset when I calculated that with my commission I had just worked for $4.00/hr.:eek: I get the same feeling from people in my area too. They would rather have the "free"...
