I was in one of those last year, and it was also awful - but I think someone told us that the consultant-half-of-the-team doesn't necessarily know what the new products are until we do - they hear it in General Session just the same as the rest of us!
If they're going to keep doing that...
Those of us who left last night got out okay - though really bumpy!! My Director, and probably many the others who stayed for the event at the Field Museum got stuck. One of the consultants in our TEAM called to say that they were at the airport, but no flights were going out - only 15/hour...
I hand them out at the beginning and give everyone a 'research assignment.' Their assignment put their name and their MOST DESIRED (price is NO object here!) Pampered Chef product on their nametag.
When I begin the show, I thank the host, and then each person says their name and their listed...
Just remember, too, that Pampered Chef only has "Tools" - not "gadgets" so whatever the new products are they'll need to have more than one use...
Just another of those things we love about Pampered Chef - they really do make time in the kitchen easier by cutting down on all those one-use...
