They did this to me too. HO said that sometimes the computer "gets confused" when the consultant is also the charter host. They shipped my stuff pronto.

When I joined PC, I spent a good deal of time researching it online. You have to try really hard to find anyone who has something bad to say about PC. I was also encouraged with the number of consultants out there who have been doing it for 5-10 years or longer. That is very encouraging...
I got a call from someone in the distribution center. I would have figured they would be pretty busy this time of year. I imagined them tasking anyone on their lunch break with a list of calls to make :)
I like to take a lot of stuff- having things displayed gives the guests several items to look at and talk about. I also use it as a talking point- "I received these items for free or 50% off as a consultant"- it makes for a good recruiting opener.
I JUST received mine (along with the spritzer) last night in my first bonus swag order. With five kids at home all under the age of 11, I will be able to field test it beyond its engineered limits. Stand by for a report.
I think the catalog tote is a totally brilliant idea, its just a bit harder for us guys to pull off :( I'm thinking of maybe designing a catalog golf bag...
The Amazing Race works really well, especially with competitive couples. Just make sure that the recipes are evenly matched. I did this at my last show, and the winning team finished only seconds ahead. It was exciting!
This.
I have had guys at my shows and they really appreciate the quality and the design of the tools. Talk up the tech details of the cookware, knives, etc and it will go just fine.

So I did a quick search for 'bacon' (I do that at every website I visit as a matter of course) and I haven't found the time and temp for doing bacon in the bar pan. How should I do it?
<Furiously taking notes>
I'm having trouble finding this show tip on the PC website. Maybe they have a training video for it? Also, I may have to have a bigger door-prize for this one. Somehow I think bamboo tongs aren't going to cut it!:rolleyes:
